Deposit/Sale contract
This DEPOSIT CONTRACT is effective when signed below by both BREEDER (whether singular or plural) and BUYER (whether singular or plural) for a well bred, health tested, Boston Terrier.
The full purchase price for a Companion- NON-BREEDING Boston Terrier will start at $2800.00. The price will go up according to the "quality" of each puppy at 8 weeks of age. The price of each puppy is determined solely by the quality of each individual dog at the time of evaluation by the BREEDER. The BREEDER evaluates puppies between 6 and 8 weeks of age. Puppies are not priced based on color, gender, only on quality. ALL prices are in US dollars.
In order to get on our "waiting list", you have to "commit' by putting a "deposit" down on a future litter. This "deposit", insures you will receive a puppy from one of the future breedings, and goes towards the purchase price of the puppy. ALL deposit fees are to be paid by personal check and addressed to (Judy Criswell) unless otherwise discussed. In the case where the check has been returned non sufficent funds, the Buyers/Adopting party will replace the payment with a CASH payment to Judy Criswell, and an additional $100.00 for service charge will be incurred. Failure to make such payment shall void the application and the Buyer/Adopting party shall no longer be considered for a puppy.
Final payment shall be made for the puppy(s) by the 8th week mark. Final payment has to be made in CASH.
If puppy is being picked up/shipped via airline the price of puppy does not include Health certificate, Air Fare, transportation, extended boarding fee, flight arrangements and gas (gas at 2.30 per mile) crate cost additional vaccinations, food, and veterinary costs if needed.
The deposit is a Promise made by the Buyer/Adopting party to purchase a puppy, and a Promise made by the Breeder to hold a Companion puppy until 8-9 weeks of age or a Potential Show puppy up to 16 weeks of age. No other intention is implied by Breeder.
The Buyer understands that the deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE if a puppy meeting their needs is available within the specified time outlined in the contract below. Should the Buyer/Adopting party decide not to be considered for the puppy offered by the BREEDER, the Buyer/Adopting party forfeits his/her deposit fee. Such reasons may be that another Breeder has puppies available sooner or in a more desirable coat color or pattern or that the Buyer has changed their mind on purchasing a puppy.
*Buyer/Adopting party understands that the Breeder places puppies in homes which are the best homes for the puppy as well as the Breeder.
*Buyer/Adopting party understands that "Show" homes receive first priority and "Performance" homes receive second priority over "pet" homes. The more our puppies are out in the world being seen, the better it is for both the breed and the Breeder.
*The Breeder reserves the right to choose the puppy for the Buyer/Adopting party.

**Visitation of puppies shall not occur until puppies are weaned.
**Visitation of puppies is by appointment only and is at the discretion of the Breeder.
**Puppies will not be released to new homes until health testing has been done by the Breeder and must be paid in full by their 8 week mark.
**Puppies must be picked up by it's 9th week mark, or Breeder has the right to charge $35 per day for room and board. Room and board will be paid in CASH when Buyer picks up puppy. If Buyer elects not to pick up puppy, Buyer will forfeit the Deposit.
**Flight costs will be paid by Buyer/Adopting party according to the current fees and prior to the puppy being shipped.
**All flight arrangements will be made by the BREEDER and not by the Buyer/Adopting party. Breeder will only fly puppies under safe conditions. If the circumstances are unsafe such as the cargo bay not having temperature control, the puppy will not be shipped via airline and alternate arrangements will have to be made by Buyer to transport the puppy to its new home after full payment has been made in CASH.
PET/COMPANION QUALITY: $700.oo deposit Normally total $2800.oo
* BREEDER considers these pups to be not as correct as show quality OR the BREEDER has too many dogs at the time!
*These pups are all health tested and make wonderful companions
*They are always sold with limited registration meaning that any offspring would not be eligible for registration
*These pups are ALWAYS sold on Spay/Neuter contracts. NO exceptions.
RETIRED FEMALE SHOW DOG OR MALE DOG: $500.00 deposit Total: $1200.00
* Dog may be an AKC champion or a champion sired/damed brood bitch
*Dog is usually 3-6 years of age (or can be younger)
*Dog is normally lead trained, crate trained or may even have been obedience trained
and have obedience titles.
Deposit is good for 36 months from date of acceptance.

BREEDER will save the completed questionnaire to remember what the Buyer/Adopting party will be looking for whether it be a puppy, adult, male or female.
Breeder only produces AKC acceptable colors.
